In every lesson, I strive to reinforce skills the student has developed, teach and encourage new ones, and expose them to music they’ve never encountered.
Private lessons for ages 9 and up are available on pay-what-you-can basis. I believe all students should have the opportunity to take private lessons, regardless of ability to pay. Suggested rates are as follows: $40/half hour, $50/45-minute, $60/hour. Accepted payment options include cash, Venmo (@tubabonebone), check or PayPal (jesse.b.metzler@gmail.com).
Payment is due the day of a lesson. There is no fee for cancellation due to sickness, but in all other cases I need to be notified at least a day in advance. Rescheduling or cancellation is the exception to the rule, and should not be a common occurrence.
