A brass multi-instrumentalist skilled in many genres, Jesse is an active and in-demand performer and educator based in Burlington, Vermont.
As a performer, he has contributed to top local ensembles such as the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Kat Wright, Dwight and Nicole, Chad Hollister, the Vermont Jazz Ensemble, Barika, the Heiland Consort, the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra, the Saturn Peoples’ Collective, TURNmusic and the Vermont Youth Symphony Orchestra.
His skills as a performer would not have been developed without the dedication of teachers throughout his life. Jesse continues the spirit of those lessons with a busy teaching schedule at Tuttle Middle School, Harwood High School, and Crossett Brook Middle School. He also teaches for the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association, and private lessons at his studio. His students have won placement at district and state-wide music festivals, and with the Vermont Youth Orchestra.
Jesse earned his Bachelor’s in Music from Montclair State University in New Jersey, where his primary teachers with Tony Mazzocchi and Alan Ferber, with additional education at the Liszt Ference Music Academy in Budapest, Hungary, with Dr. Hőna Gusztáv.
He strives to raise his own young kids in the most musical world possible.
